Attributes:  Evergreen,  Single leaf with wavy margins.  Unusual green flowers and black fruit.
Notes: Supper cool and reliably hardy shrub that is still relatively uncommon in cultivation.  Closely related to Metapanax delavayi.  Younger leaves are singe and as they mature they turn into three lobed leaves.
